At Lifeworks, volunteers play a vital role by sharing their expertise in areas such as art, technology, birding, career development, and much more.
Whether you’re passionate about fishing or books, are willing to share what you do for a living with our job seekers or have a particular skill or interest that you’d like to contribute, we’re happy to have you as a volunteer!
Volunteer Opportunities with Lifeworks
We are seeking individual volunteers interested in engaging one to one with someone or with a small group on a regularly scheduled cadence. The volunteering opportunities can be scheduled for an on-going basis or a specified period of time. We take time to “match” a volunteer with the people and activities that create a beneficial experience for everyone involved.
Community-Based Day Support
Individual volunteers spend time with small groups out in the community.
Some outings include volunteering at local nonprofits, visiting coffee shops, spending time at community centers, and more.
Volunteer opportunities with Community-Based Day Support are available in Apple Valley, Brooklyn Park, and Mankato, Monday through Friday during business hours.
