Work|Life™ Self-Advocacy Conference: My Community & My Rights

Hosted by Lifeworks’ Disability Inclusion Consultants, this virtual conference provides an opportunity to connect with fellow self-advocates and share local resources while building your understanding of rights and best practices for accessing your community.
Topics include:
- How to identify what matters to you
- How to access community resources
- How to participate in advocacy efforts
- How to build networks and coalitions
This conference includes speakers from the University of Minnesota: Institute on Community Integration (ICI), Advocating Change Together (ACT), The Arc Minnesota, Minnesota Disability Law Center, and Minnesota Disability Justice Network.

Can’t make the entire day? You may come to one or all of the sessions! Each one includes a presentation and a breakout discussion led by a peer mentor.
