Inclusive Workplaces for People with Disabilities
This training covers the dimensions of disability, employment statistics for people with disabilities, common barriers in the workplace, best practices for making workplaces accessible and inclusive, and talent acquisition and retention.

Disability is a broad, varied term that encompasses many lived experiences. This training will explore the history of disability and the disability rights movements, the importance of language to the disability community, and encourage attendees to become familiar with the diversity of disability.

Workplace Accommodations
There are many misconceptions about accommodations in the workplace, especially what they are and how much they cost. This training discusses the benefits and costs, advocating for accommodations, challenging stigmas, and the ideal accommodations process.

Avoiding Ableism, Becoming Allies
This training covers how ableism exists in society and our workplaces by discussing what ableism is, our beliefs about disability and the language we use, microaggressions, and why challenging ableism matters. Create actionable plans to become allies.

Disability is an intersectional identity, and this training dives deeper into this concept by discussing the meaning and history of intersectionality, how systems of inequity create compounding barriers, and how to best support people with disabilities with various identities.

Self-directed services help people with disabilities of all ages maintain their independence by deciding how, when, and from whom their services and support will be delivered. This session breaks down the complexities and myths about self-directed services from authorization to implementation and continued support.
