Together, we can make a difference!
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised $28,468 on Give to the Max Day! This includes matching funds from two anonymous donors. We are so grateful for your continued support, and we appreciate everyone who donated, shared, and cheered us on along the way.
Although Give to the Max Day is over, Lifeworks needs additional funding to continue our innovative work. At Lifeworks, people with disabilities lead the way as we drive change and co-create new programming in the community. Those who access our services value our core programs, such as employment, fiscal, day support, and resource navigation. As we move forward, Lifeworks will co-create new programming throughout Minnesota with Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and rural communities.
With our new strategic pillars, we’ve developed a new equity statement that “walks the talk” and defines our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Lifeworks continues to evolve alongside our community by listening to those with lived experiences and honoring the intersectionality of disability. We are committed to taking action to make our vision of accessible, equitable, and diverse communities a reality.
As a member of the Lifeworks community, you are an important part of this transformation. Each year, we ask for funds to evolve our services and continue providing high-quality options that honor choice and self-determination. Your gift increases opportunity and access in the community as we partner with people with disabilities and provide person-centered services.
3 ways to support Lifeworks:
1. Support: Whether one-time, monthly, or in honor of someone in your life, a tax-deductible donation of any amount helps. Make your year-end gift, today! Remember, you can receive a charitable tax deduction in 2022 whether you itemize or not!
2. Explore: Reach out to our fundraising team to learn about the many ways to support Lifeworks. From estate planning to donor advised funds to gifts of stock, we can help you create a meaningful legacy at an organization you care about.
3. Share: People are more likely to support organizations that are recommended by family and friends. Let the people in your life know about the important work Lifeworks does in our communities by sharing our emails, blog posts, and social media messages with them.
Thank you for your support. Together, we are investing in change and moving towards a truly accessible, equitable, and diverse community.
