On March 16 at 9:00 a.m., we’ll be on Zoom for a lively discussion. Our panelists will share resources around guardianship and supported decision making, talk about individual and family choice, and discuss approaches to difficult conversations between generations and among loved ones.

• Jonda Dansare, Ecolab
Jonda lives in Apple Valley and has lived in her own apartment since May, 2005 (almost 17 years). Jonda has been with Lifeworks since 1996 (26 years) and is currently employed at Ecolab. During the worst of the pandemic, Jonda worked several different jobs and is happy to be back at Ecolab. She also enjoys participating in Project Explore activities and Special Olympics. Jonda enjoys doing arts and crafts in her free time.
• Joseph Kukla, Thiel, Anderson, Kukla and Gunderson, PLLP
Joe is a partner at Thiel, Anderson, Kukla & Gunderson in Edina, and has been with that law firm since 2013. Joe has a legal practice that is based in estate planning, real estate and business law, with a particular emphasis on serving clients with special needs. Joe has extensive professional experience with guardianships and trust planning, and he is an expert on the rules of Medical Assistance and Social Security. His youngest brother, Jake, has developmental disabilities, and his life experiences inspired Joe to use his background to help individuals and families dealing with similar circumstances. In addition to his legal practice, Joe is a former licensed PCA, is a certified coach and volunteer for Special Olympics Minnesota, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Opportunity Partners, Inc., a Twin Cities-based non-profit organization that provides services to the disability community.
• Alli Strong-Martin, Lifeworks (moderator)
Alli has worked with Lifeworks since 2019, after she graduated from the University of Minnesota with a M.A. in Human Rights. She also holds a B.A. in Nonprofit Leadership from Murray State University and has a background ranging direct support roles and global disability rights work. At Lifeworks, Alli develops training offerings that educate employer partners, disability organizations, and community members on disability rights and inclusion in the workplace and in the community at-large. Alli is dedicated to educating herself and others about the intersectionality of disability rights issues, while working towards a future in which every person is able to enjoy their right to participate fully and authentically in their communities.
